TRANSTECH BIKES
Beginning in 1998, Novakinetics (formerly Transport Technologies, Inc.) began designing and producing composite mountain bike frames. These frames were designed to be very stiff laterally and torsionally, but soft vertically for improved rear wheel control and a more comfortable ride.
We used both engineering and imagination to produce frames where the shape followed the purpose, and the internal fiber orientation controlled or prevented flexibility.
We tested around the country (what a great excuse to ride Moab!) and at cross-country races in Texas.
These frames are still available on a very exclusive basis. Come ride the Northern Arizona mountains with us, and maybe we'll build you one. We've elected to concentrate on aircraft engineering and manufacturing, our primary business.
